ESC/ERS Guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of PH

In recent years, significant advancements have been made in the detection and management of PH, and this fourth edition of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and the European Respiratory Society (ERS) Guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary hypertension incorporates the latest evidence. These extensive clinical practice guidelines encompass the entire spectrum of PH, with a particular focus on the diagnosis and treatment of Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) and Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension (CTEPH).

CHEST Pulmonary Hypertension

The American College of Chest Physicians published its consensus guidelines in 2019 for the drug treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). The guideline expert panel provides evidence-based insights on combining therapies, integrating palliative care, and incorporating exercise training (cardiopulmonary rehabilitation) into PAH management.
